Here was my submission for a pageant to designate this decade's OFFICIAL PORTRAIT of the Middle Fork Zumbro River.

Ah the North Branch Middle Fork Zumbro River, a pleasant small creek with an absurd name.

In Minnesota a gorgeous patch of woods occurs.

Are the woods cheering us on, or are they attacking us.

"We do not know whether it is summer or fall anymore," we say in unison.

We'll put hanging flowerballs on all the utility poles in town.

In 2014 a Dollar General was built here.
